Order to leave Belgian soil: decision notified to foreigners by the Immigration Department, concretely to asylum seekers who have exhausted all legal procedures.

Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons: central authority for the asylum procedure in Belgium. The task of the CGRS, as an independent government agency, consists of examining applications for asylum and offering protection to refugees who, in case of return to their country of origin, run the risk of persecution or serious harm. The CGRS can grant, refuse or withdraw refugee or subsidiary protection status. The CGRS also issues register office certificates to refugees and stateless persons.
