L’objectif de la présente recherche consiste à dresser un état des lieux de la situation dans la capitale malienne. Elle porte principalement sur la période allant du 1er janvier 2021 au 31 décembre 2023.
Le présent rapport fait le point sur l’état de la corruption en Guinée et donne un aperçu de la situation en matière de circulation de faux documents. Il met à jour le COI Focus du 25 septembre 2020 qui a pour titre Corruption et faux documents. Ce rapport a été réalisé avec l'aide du Fonds européen pour l'asile, la migration et l'intégration (FAMI).
La recherche pour cette mise à jour a été clôturée le 15 avril 2024.
Deze COI Focus maakt een stand van zaken op over de veiligheidssituatie in de regionale staat Oromia in Ethiopië.
Dit rapport bouwt verder op de gelijknamige COI Focus van 15 februari 2022. Anders dan voorgaande COI Focus gaat dit rapport niet in op de demografische context van de regio, ook gaat het niet uitgebreid in op de politieke ontwikkelingen in de periode volgend op het aantreden van premier Abiy Ahmed. Dit rapport beperkt zich tot de gewapende opstand van het Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), en focust daarbij op de periode vanaf het Cessation of Hositilities Agreement (CoHA) dat begin november 2022 een einde maakt aan de oorlog in Tigray tot februari 2024.
Het onderzoek werd afgesloten op 11 maart 2024.

La présente recherche dresse un état des lieux de la situation sécuritaire en Haïti. Elle porte sur la période allant de juillet 2021 à octobre 2023, mettant l’accent sur la dernière année écoulée. La recherche a été clôturée le 2 octobre 2023.
Deze COI Focus geeft zicht op de actuele situatie in India. De informatie in deze COI Focus loopt tot en met 2 september 2022.
Sinds jaren volgt Cedoca de situatie in India op de voet. Informatie over de jaren vóór 2021 is, voor zover niet relevant, niet opgenomen in dit overzicht.
De aandacht gaat hierbij specifiek uit naar de rechtstoestand, de toepassing van de rechtsvoorschriften in het democratische stelsel, de politieke omstandigheden, de mate waarin vervolging of mishandeling voorkomen en er tegen eventuele vervolging of mishandeling bescherming geboden wordt.
Dit document behandelt de geweldincidenten in de Koerdisch Autonome Regio (KAR) van Irak in het kader van het conflict tussen Turkije en de Koerdische Arbeiderspartij (Partiya Karkerên Kurdistanê, PKK) en sluit aan bij de COIF Irak. Veiligheidssituatie van 26 april 2023, meer bepaald het hoofdstuk 6.5 Koerdische Autonome Regio (KAR).
Terwijl die COIF de algemene veiligheidssituatie behandelt, ligt de focus van het onderhavige document volledig op de veiligheidsincidenten in het kader van de strijd tussen Turkije en de PKK. Het onderzoek voor dit document werd uitgevoerd tussen 30 juni en 7 augustus 2023.
Deze COI Focus maakt een stand van zaken op over de veiligheidssituatie in Irak. Het onderzoek omvat heel het Iraakse grondgebied met inbegrip van de Koerdische Autonome Regio (KAR), de provincies Duhok, Erbil en Sulaymaniyah. Het onderzoek richt zich in het bijzonder op de periode van januari 2022 tot februari 2023. Voor gegevens die het niveau van geweld meten, zoals statistieken van aanslagen, analyseert Cedoca in een aantal gevallen alleen de gegevens van het jaar 2022 om verschillende bronnen met elkaar te kunnen vergelijken. Voor de kaarten met de geolocatie van incidenten en de lijsten met concrete voorbeelden van dodelijke geweldincidenten gebruikt Cedoca alleen gegevens van het Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED).
De analyse is een actualisering van het rapport van het European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) over de veiligheidssituatie in Irak (Iraq, Security Situation) van januari 2022. Voor de voorgeschiedenis van het conflict tot oktober 2021 verwijst deze COI Focus naar de overeenkomstige hoofdstukken van het EUAA-rapport.
This report is meant to provide an overview and provide background information on the tribal dynamics and structures in Iraq as well the major tribal practices and dispute settlement mechanisms applied by the Arab Muslim Iraqi tribes, mainly in western/central and southern areas of the country.
It provides information on tribal (customary) law in Iraq, tribal practices, and tribal interaction with Iraqi formal law as well as the Iraqi state’s response towards tribes and tribal practices in Arab Muslim contexts. Furthermore, the report provides information on certain aspects of how women are impacted by tribal practices, and tribal responses to Christian conversion and perceived ISIL affiliation. Lastly, aspects of tribal violence that have a civilian and security dimension are addressed: causes, impact on the security situation, and the State’s ability to respond to tribal feuds.
The reference period for the report is January 2021 to 23 March 2023. The drafting of this report was finalised on 6 April 2023.
