Relaxation of covid measures

The CGRS relaxes the covid measures at the reception and for the organization of the interviews in two stages.

From Wednesday 11 May onwards, masks are no longer mandatory in the waiting room and during the interviews at the CGRS. A fifth person (e.g. guardian or confidant) may be present in all the interview rooms.

From 13 June onwards, the social distancing rule will no longer apply in the waiting room and interview rooms. The plexiglass in the interview rooms will also be removed from that day onwards.

However, we continue to pay attention to the health and safety of everyone. Therefore, we pay special attention to ventilation and the CO2 meters will remain in place. Hand sanitizer gel and face masks will remain available for those who wish to use them.

Persons who are ill or suffer from symptoms, cannot attend the personal interview.

From 13 June, the CGRS reception desk will also reopen (between 10 and 11.30 a.m and between 2.30 p.m and 3.30 pm). To hand in or collect documents, it is necessary to make an appointment at cgra-cgvs.Advocate@ibz.fgov.be. Changing an address or inquiring about the status of a procedure can be done without an appointment.

During the covid period, we introduced a system of staggered invitation hours. We will partly maintain this system in the future. From 13 June, the new invitation hours are 8.30 a.m., 9 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 1 pm, 1.30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Exceptionally, an invitation can take place at 10 p.m.
