Maroc: Le mariage forcé

Le présent rapport porte sur la pratique du mariage forcé au Maroc.

Un mariage forcé est un mariage contracté sans le libre consentement des deux époux ou lorsque le consentement d'au moins un des époux a été donné sous la contrainte physique et/ou morale (violence, menaces, chantage affectif, pressions psychologiques, etc.).

Cette recherche a été clôturée le 1er mars 2023.

Soudan: Security situation in Darfur and the Two Areas

The purpose of this COI Focus is to assess the security situation in the five states of Darfur, the Two Areas (the two southern provinces of South Kordofan and Blue Nile) and West Kordofan in Sudan. The report is particularly focused on the period from January 2022 to December 2022.

From 30 October to 10 November 2022, the Norwegian Country of Origin Information Centre (Landinfo) and Cedoca conducted a joint fact-finding mission in Sudan. Information collected during meetings with sources in Khartoum is also included in this report.

Somalie: EUAA COI Report. Security situation

The report provides an update on and mapping of the security situation at both country and regional level, namely for the 18 administrative regions foreseen by the Somali provisional constitution as they existed before 1991. The report builds upon preceding EASO COI reports, notably the Somalia: Security Situation from September 2021, but also Actors, Targeted profiles and Key socio-economic indicators. They were published in the period July- September 2021.

The report provides an overview of the main security trends and conflict dynamics at country level in the reference period (1 July 2021 - 30 November 2022). Within this context it includes information on crucial developments that were already visible as of December 2022.

Additionally, the report provides an update on the main changes regarding state and non-state (armed) actors and their control areas or presence during the same reporting period. For the full overview of these actors see the report on Somalia: Actors. Finally, the report engages with conflict dynamics and security developments at the regional level. In this section, it provides information about incidents and their impact on civilian life, including conflict related humanitarian issues.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 3 February 2023.

Venezuela

EASO COI Report. Country Focus

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information for the assessment of international protection status, including the determination of refugee status and subsidiary protection.

This COI report is a joint initiative of the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) and the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Consultations on Migration, Asylum and Refugees (IGC). It builds on the first joint COI workshop between EASO and IGC, which covered Colombia and Venezuela and was held in Geneva in September 2019.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 20 July 2020. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

Het doel van dit onderzoek is een stand van zaken op te maken over de algemene situatie in Venezuela. Het onderzoek richt zich hierbij op de politieke situatie, de veiligheidssituatie en de socio-economische situatie van het land om een zo breed mogelijke analyse te maken van de huidige stand van zaken. De situatie van specifieke profielen, zoals bijvoorbeeld politieke activisten, vormen geen voorwerp van deze analyse. Het onderzoek richt zich in het bijzonder op de periode van 1 mei 2019 tot mei 2020. Het onderzoek werd afgesloten op 15 mei 2020.

Veiligheidssituatie (addendum)
01 Juillet 2019

Le présent COI Focus est un addendum au COI Focus Venezuela. Situation sécuritaire du 4 avril 2019. Les derniers développements survenus au Venezuela y sont mis en lumière, en particulier  la tentative de coup d’Etat du 30 avril 2019. Les conséquences politiques de cet échec pour l’opposition emmenée par Juan Guaidó et pour le régime du président Nicolás Maduro y sont également décrites. Ce COI Focus passe également en revue des informations récentes sur des violations des droits de l’homme au Venezuela.

La période couverte par ce COI Focus va jusqu’au 14 juin 2019.

Situation sécuritaire

Depuis 2014, le Venezuela traverse une crise à la fois politique et socio-économique. L’hyperinflation a un impact sérieux sur la capacité à obtenir un accès à de la nourriture, des médicaments et d’autres biens de base. Le Venezuela continue d’être un des pays les plus violents du monde et connaît un exode massif de sa population. Les sanctions étrangères visent désormais une septantaine de personnes.
