Ce rapport a pour objectif d’examiner la situation politique qui prévaut en République démocratique du Congo (RDC) depuis octobre 2021. Ce document constitue une mise à jour du COI Focus Situation politique à Kinshasa, daté du 18 octobre 2021.

Le Cedoca a clôturé les recherches le 7 novembre 2022.

Ce rapport propose un aperçu de la situation sécuritaire en Egypte dans le nord du Sinaï en 2021 et 2022. La recherche a été clôturée le 11 octobre 2022.

Ce document a été rédigé sur base des informations publiques disponibles : des rapports d’organisations internationales - en particulier un rapport publié par le Haut-Commissariat des Nations unies pour les réfugiés en mars 2022 -, ceux de centres européens de documentation en matière d’asile et de migration - notamment un rapport du Service d’immigration danois publié en juin 2019 et contenant des entretiens de diverses organisations en Palestine - et des articles de presse. Le Cedoca a également pris contact avec l’organisation israélienne Gisha , l’Office des étrangers, l’Organisation internationale pour les migrations et avec un diplomate palestinien.   

Ce COI Focus est une mise à jour d’un rapport publié le 3 septembre 2020. Le Cedoca a clôturé la recherche le 11 octobre 2022.

Corruptie en documentenfraude van 21 januari 2021. Dit document bevat de nieuwe ontwikkelingen sinds januari 2021 tot en met september 2022. Cedoca heeft het onderzoek afgesloten op 29 september 2022.

This report describes the situation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

The report revises the previous EASO COI report Pakistan – situation of Afghan refugees, released in May 2020. It specifically covers developments between 1 May 2020 and 17 March 2022.

The report consists of three main chapters. The first chapter describes the general background of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

The second chapter of the report examines the legal status of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan and describes the documentation process of registered and unregistered Afghan refugees.

The third chapter provides information on socio-economic situation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan according to their legal status.

This report is an update to the previous EASO COI Report Pakistan – Security Situation published in October 2020. This report provides information on elements and indicators that may help in assessing the need for international protection.

The reference period for the events described in this report is from 1 August 2020 until 31 July 2021. However, to allow a better comparison with 2020, for data on violent incidents and civilian casualties, the timeframe is between 1 January 2020 until 31 December 2020 and 1 January 2021 until 31 July 2021.

The COI report was drafted by a Country of Origin Information (COI) specialist from Cedoca, the Belgian COI unit of the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Person.

Dit document is een actualisering van de COI Focus Corruptie en documentenfraude van 23 september 2019. Dit document bevat de nieuwe ontwikkelingen sinds september 2019 tot en met de eerste helft van januari 2021. Cedoca heeft het onderzoek afgesloten op 15 januari 2021.

This report is an update of the EASO COI report on Pakistan, Security Situation, October 2019. The reference period for the events described in this report is from 1 August 2019 until 31 July 2020.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 14 August 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 18 September 2020.

This report was drafted by a COI specialist from the Belgian Centre for Documentation and Research (Cedoca) in the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons.

This report provides relevant information on the situation of registered and unregistered Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

The report provides a brief historical overview of Afghan migration to Pakistan, it describes the legal status of Afghans living in Pakistan and its impact on their ability to access education, employment, health services, housing, financial and communication services, legal aid. Further, the report provides information on the attitude of the Government of Pakistan as well as on the general attitude of Pakistan's population towards Afghan refugees.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 15 April 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 6 May 2020.
