Ce document présente des informations sur les possibilités de voyager depuis Bruxelles vers Bamako ainsi que sur les possibilités de déplacement pour rejoindre les régions du sud du Mali à partir de la capitale. Dans la dernière partie, il traite des retours de ressortissants maliens organisés par le gouvernement en 2023 et 2024. Pour élaborer ce COI Focus, le Cedoca s’est appuyé sur des informations publiques disponibles en novembre 2024. Le Cedoca a clôturé ses recherches le 26 novembre 2024. Ce rapport constitue une mise à jour du COI Focus du 26 avril 2024 portant le titre Mali. Possibilités de retour : liaisons aériennes vers Bamako.

En raison des événements récents survenus en Syrie, le COI et la note de politique de traitement du CGRA concernant ce pays pourraient ne plus être d’actualité.

Dans le contexte de ces événements, le CGRA a décidé en date du 9 décembre 2024 de suspendre partiellement le traitement des dossiers des demandeurs originaires de Syrie : les décisions sont suspendues, à l’exception de la prise des décisions concernant des bénéficiaires d’un statut de protection dans un autre État membre de l’Union européenne.

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information in view of the assessment of international protection, including refugee status and subsidiary protection.

The report covers the period of 1 October 2023 – 25 October 2024. Events taking place after the end of the reference period have not been included.

The report’s first chapter provides information on an overview of the country, covering aspects such as geography, ethnic groups, and the state structure. The second chapter focuses on political developments, while the third chapter details the main actors involved in the conflict, including Pakistan's armed forces and non-state armed groups. The fourth chapter provides information on the security situation, with a focus on regional variations. The fifth chapter provides information on the structure and functioning of the judiciary. The sixth chapter focuses on the treatment of certain profiles and groups of population and the seventh chapter addresses the socio-economic and humanitarian situation, and the final chapter provides information on the situation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

This report is an update to the previous EASO COI Report Pakistan – Security Situation published in October 2020. This report provides information on elements and indicators that may help in assessing the need for international protection.

The reference period for the events described in this report is from 1 August 2020 until 31 July 2021. However, to allow a better comparison with 2020, for data on violent incidents and civilian casualties, the timeframe is between 1 January 2020 until 31 December 2020 and 1 January 2021 until 31 July 2021.

The COI report was drafted by a Country of Origin Information (COI) specialist from Cedoca, the Belgian COI unit of the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Person.

In deze COI Focus beschrijft Cedoca de prevalentie van corruptie en documentenfraude in Pakistan. Dit document is een actualisering van de COI Focus Corruptie en documentenfraude van 23 september 2019. Dit document bevat de nieuwe ontwikkelingen sinds september 2019 tot en met de eerste helft van januari 2021. Cedoca heeft het onderzoek afgesloten op 15 januari 2021.

This report is an update of the EASO COI report on Pakistan, Security Situation, October 2019. The reference period for the events described in this report is from 1 August 2019 until 31 July 2020.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 14 August 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 18 September 2020.

This report was drafted by a COI specialist from the Belgian Centre for Documentation and Research (Cedoca) in the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons.

This report provides relevant information on the situation of registered and unregistered Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

The report provides a brief historical overview of Afghan migration to Pakistan, it describes the legal status of Afghans living in Pakistan and its impact on their ability to access education, employment, health services, housing, financial and communication services, legal aid. Further, the report provides information on the attitude of the Government of Pakistan as well as on the general attitude of Pakistan's population towards Afghan refugees.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 15 April 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 6 May 2020.

Deze COI Focus is een update van de COI Focus Pakistan. Homoseksualiteit en andere seksuele minderheden van 16 augustus 2016. De huidige COI Focus behandelt de periode augustus 2016 tot en met 10 april 2020.

In het internationale discours over mensenrechten gebruikt men tegenwoordig de afkorting LGBT (lesbiennes, homoseksuelen, biseksuelen, transgenders) om te verwijzen naar seksuele minderheden. De afkorting kan ook slaan op instellingen, organisaties en individuen die de rechten van deze personen verdedigen. Hoewel de leden van verschillende seksuele minderheden in een bepaalde context een gelijkaardige druk kunnen ondervinden, bevinden ze zich niet noodzakelijk in dezelfde situatie. Seksuele geaardheid en genderidentiteit (mannelijk of vrouwelijk) zijn twee verschillende problematieken.

De term homoseksueel slaat zowel op mannen als op vrouwen. Naast homoseksuelen, kent Pakistan een uitgebreide gemeenschap van transgenders (hijra’s of khawaj seras).
